Seyu partners with Ponferradina football club and debuts at Spain’s Copa del Rey
Thanks to Seyu’s new partnership with SD Ponferradina, football fans will have the chance to virtually cheer for the team’s players throughout the 2021/22 season. The digital solution will debut at the match between the Ponferradina and RCD Espanyol de Barcelona teams, starting at 9 pm on the 4th of January. This marks the beginning of a long-term collaboration: after the first event, fans will be able to use the application during all Ponferradina home games in the season.
Via the application, the fans can submit their selfies and messages to remotely support their favorite players from the Ponferradina team during the games. Not only will these images appear on the stadium’s LED screens as a part of a ‘VIP selfie experience’ they will also be shareable with just a few clicks on all social media platforms to help football fans connect across borders.
